I’ve spent the best part of the last few days putting together a mood board for my mehndi artist to show her the styles and design of mehndi I really like for my bridal henna. I know any artist likes to be quite free to do what they think is right, but it doesn’t hurt to give a little direction and brief.
I love the intricate designs and am really looking forward to having my bridal henna done, however one thing I cannot stand is the smell. It is vile! People say they love it – but I really cannot understand what about mehndi is so nice to smell! I wake up in the morning heaving to the smell because I forget I had it on and my hand is somewhat smothered across my face! However, like most things for beauty, there is often a price to pay and for mehndi it is the awful smell. One way you could avoid that all together is to try these beautiful temporary metallic henna tattoos.
Whilst searching for designs, I couldn’t resist picking some from my favourite mehndi artist – Henna By Divya who is based in Toronto, Canada. I came across so many beautiful works of art and I just had to share the 5 best mehndi designs for hands and feet by the talented Divya Patel to help inspire you when you’re looking for something a little different and unique. Here they are:
